First, you should know that booking a listing appointment in no way obligates you to use me as your realtor. The consultation is free and generally takes place in your home over the course of an hour.
We will first sit down and talk about your expectations and hopefully during the process you will gain some insight in to me as well. From there, I will find out everything I need to know about your home (updates, age of appliances, etc) and then, with your guidance, I will walk the property asking questions and taking notes. When finished, I will head back home/office where I will compile all the information I gathered and run comps on similar properties.
Once I have come up with what I feel is a fair and competitive price, I will reach out to go over the numbers making sure you know exactly how I came up with them. If the numbers seem lower than expected, we will then discuss ways to bring the asking price up. I generally try to keep suggestions simple and cost effective, as not to break the bank, but also suggest ideas that will have the biggest impact. In other words, what is going to get the most bang for your the buck.
